The Short Version

PickConverter collects virtually no personal data. All tool processing happens in your browser. We don't upload your files or text to any server. We may use basic analytics (page views) and display ads, but we don't sell or share personal information with third parties.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Automatically Collected

  • Server logs: Standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. These are stored for up to 30 days for security and performance purposes.
  • Analytics: We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as page view counts) to understand how tools are used. No personally identifiable information is collected for analytics.

1.2 Contact Form

If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without explicit consent.

1.3 Files & Content You Process

We do not collect any of it. When you use PickConverter to resize an image, format JSON, or generate a password, that data is processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript. Nothing is sent to our servers.

2. Cookies

PickConverter uses minimal cookies:

  • Essential cookies: May be set for basic site functionality (e.g., remembering your preferences locally).
  • Advertising cookies: If we display ads, our ad partners (such as Google AdSense) may set cookies. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings.

We do not use tracking cookies or behavioral profiling.

3. Third-Party Services

  • Google Fonts: We load fonts from Google Fonts CDN. Google may log font requests. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • jsPDF: The Image to PDF tool uses the jsPDF library loaded from a CDN. Processing happens client-side.
  • QR.js / other libraries: Some tools use open-source JavaScript libraries. All run in your browser.

4. Data Security

Because we don't collect your tool data, there's nothing to breach. Our website is served over HTTPS. If you contact us, your message is handled with standard reasonable security practices.

5. Children's Privacy

PickConverter is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your Rights
